Terminus - One-Page RPG

You are a Series 4 J.O.A.T (Jack-of-all-trades) droid, long considered obsolete, and quickly approaching the end of your lifespan. A spark of self-awareness and cunning has allowed you to avoid decommissioning for the past few years and you have been getting by, working illegally on the mega-colony ZETA 6. Before your internal battery burns out, your final wish is to travel the immense distance to the edge of the system and witness the beauty of the fabled cosmic showers. Time is running out, but you are prepared to do whatever it takes to reach your… Terminus.

YOU WILL NEED:

• A 6-sided die
• Coin
• Pencil/Pen

HOW TO PLAY:

Players begin by rolling a die to decide character stats: ENDURANCE, INTERFACE, HOSPITALITY, MAINTENANCE

Every scene, players must pass a skill check to proceed. Players must meet the minimum skill value stated. Roll a die to receive a “chance” value that gets added to your character stats to determine success. 

(Skill Check = Stat + Chance)

After a failed skill check, the player must toss a coin to decide the cost of a retry: Heads = Free retry Tails = Lose 1 battery cell to retry. Should the player lose 3 batteries, it's game over.
