STORY

On the frigid outskirts of the Black Forest, a secluded mansion sits frozen in time.

Over the years, it's inhabitants disappeared one-by-one and a once wealthy bloodline of eccentric aristocrats came to an end with Anastasia.

Born with a latent gift of mediumship, Anastasia has been a prisoner all her life, hidden from the outside world by her deranged mother. Anastasia has been subjected to years of bizarre and torturous occult rituals meant to draw out her potential. The only comfort she has is the picture books that hint at a world outside her own and the company of the spirits, mice and spiders that visit her bedroom cell.

That was until one peculiar night, when there came a furtive knock on the bedroom door and a handkerchief concealing a knife was slipped through the threshold.

Anastasia took this opportunity to definitively overpower her captor and brave the bitter wilderness…
